Good Evening Roosevelt Families,
Progress Report Period 3 wrapped up on Friday, and grades will be available in PowerSchool on Thursday afternoon. This is the first progress report period of the second semester and gives you and your child an opportunity to see where they stand, as well as an opportunity to make adjustments in routines and study habits if needed. While we have Student Led Conferences coming up in two weeks (March 23 and 24), we are going to keep our current format and have students fill out the reflection form to share with their parents/guardians. We will hold some in-person meetings for students who need more support. More information will be shared next week.
California Parent Survey
The California Parent Survey provides us with information that will help guide district and school efforts to promote safety, enhance learning supports, and improve student achievement. Your participation is voluntary but is also very important. Please see more information here and you fill out the survey here. Thank you for your participation!
PrimeTime Sign Up Begins Monday at 6 am
Primetime links will open on Monday March 07, 2022 at 6:00 AM. It is recommended to sign up as early as possible to reserve a spot, just in case there is a waiting list for morning or afternoon sessions.
RooFriends "Dine Out" Fundraiser Wednesday, March 9th at The Station Tavern!
Interested in enjoying great food for a great cause? Please Support Roosevelt MS by heading to The Station Tavern & Burgers (South Park) this coming Wednesday, March 9. The Station will donate 20% of proceeds to the RooFriends Foundation, benefiting RMS Students!
Monday Morning Art Sessions
Starting tomorrow, March 7, Dr. Herndon will be hosting Monday morning art sessions in room 315 at 7:15. This opportunity is open to all students, no sign up required!
STUDY WAY For 6th Grade Students:
Please take a look at this new opportunity for 6th grade AND 7th grade students to study together after school on Wednesdays at 3:25 in the library. This new club is the idea of one of our caring students to help students work together and improve!

Parent Volunteering Opportunities
We are now able to start letting parents back on to campus to help us with volunteering!
We are needing the most help with supervision during lunches and after school. We are still in the process of working out the logistics including some training sessions, but if you are interested in potentially volunteering with us, please let us know here or contact VP Brewer with any questions, cbrewer@sandi.net.
