Good Evening Roosevelt Families,
I cannot believe the school year is winding down. With our last full week upon us and school ending on Tuesday, June 14th, I can feel the excitement around campus and the mix of sadness that comes with the end of the school year. It was wonderful to see our 6th grade students in action on Friday at the 6th Grade Olympics, they did an amazing job. Thank you Coach Martinez and Coach Sand and the entire team for organizing a great event for students and parents. This week we will have some more end of the year activities, including a 7th grade field trip on Thursday and 8th grade activities (see below). This Tuesday is our final advisory day, as Tuesday the 14th, our last day of school, will be a minimum day.
Congratulations to our RMS Soccer Teams who ended their seasons with big wins in their respective SDUSD Middle School Soccer tournaments this weekend. Our boys' team placed 2nd in their division while our girls team won the championship title! Get excited for RMS Athletics in 2022-2023!
Textbook Returns Continue this Week
Our Librarian Mrs. Hassan requests Volunteers join her this Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in the Library. Please sign-up to help with getting us organized and ready for the upcoming school year.
Parking Fundraiser Success!
Thanks to the Volunteers who made the Memorial Weekend Parking Fundraiser such a big success. A group of about 20 Students, Parents and RooFriends members raised over $8000 in just 2 days!! Our next Parking Fundraiser is July 2. Please sign-up to EARN BIG for RMS.

The RMS Community is invited to the online RMS Music "Open House" this Wednesday, June 8, 6:00-7:00 PM. Incoming and new-to-music students and families are also welcome!
