School Site Council (SSC)

What is the School Site Council (SSC)?

The School Site Council (SSC) is an elected decision-making group composed of parents, community members, site administrators, teachers, and other school staff.

The SSC plays a vital role in our school community. Its responsibilities include:

- Developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA)

- Overseeing the use of categorical funds, including Title I, English Language Learner (ELL), and GATE funding

All public schools are required to have an active School Site Council.

SSC meetings are held on the third Thursday of every month at 4:00 PM via Zoom.
